The headline speaker for this year’s Thought Leadership Conference is Linsey Davis, an American broadcast journalist at ABC News Live Prime, which is ABC News Live’s first-ever streaming evening newscast, and weekend World News Tonight on Sundays. She is a correspondent filing reports for World News Tonight, Good Morning America, 20/20 and Nightline. Davis will present at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, in the “Continuing the Conversation” portion of the conference. Davis has covered news stories around the globe, including the Las Vegas massacre, Harvey Weinstein allegations and subsequent MeToo Movement, Boston Marathon bombing, Nairobi Mall massacre and several of President Obama’s trips overseas. Her coverage ranges from the 2016 presidential election to social injustice and various natural disasters, including the earthquake in Haiti and multiple hurricanes. Davis’s presentation, titled “Celebrating Women and Girls—Passion, Prowess, Power” will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Lerner Theatre, followed by the book signing at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required (contact the Lerner Theatre box office).

Guests with prohibited items will be turned away from the entrances to return items to their vehicles or to dispose of them.
No storage or “check in area” will be provided for prohibited items. Lerner management reserves the right to deny any item it deems to be a safety hazard.
