
The Dordt University Wind Symphony is the premiere instrumental performing ensemble from Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. The ensemble is under the direction of professor of music and Director of Instrumental Ensembles, Dr. Onsby C. Rose. This will be the third of seven performances during their 2026 National Tour which will take them from northwest Iowa through the Midwest to Washington D.C. and back through Illinois and Nebraska. The ensemble will be performing music by Robert Jager, Ryan Nowlin, Frank Ticheli, John Mackey, and Claude T. Smith. The centerpiece of their concerts will be the monumental “Symphony No. 4” by world renowned composer Dr. David Maslanka. The ensemble will also feature student soloists Ms. Courtney Joiner on clarinet on the final movement of John Mackey’s “Divine Mischief” for Clarinet and Wind Ensemble, as well as Ms. Tori Ensink on Floyd Werle’s “Golden Age of the Xylophone.”

Patron bags exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches by 6 inches (14” x 14” x 6″) are not permitted inside The Lerner. The term “bags” includes, without limitation, backpacks, briefcases, luggage, duffel bags, musical instrument cases, purses, boxes, packages and carry-alls.
All bags are subject to search at the discretion of management and/or security personnel. Exceptions are made for bags used to carry medical equipment and diaper bags for customers with small children.
Guests with prohibited items will be turned away from the entrances to return items to their vehicles or to dispose of them.
No storage or “check in area” will be provided for prohibited items. Lerner management reserves the right to deny any item it deems to be a safety hazard.
