SUMMARY:Art Walk - After Hours: The Erly
DESCRIPTION:Elkhart Art Walk\n \n Elkhart Music Town\n \n \n \n \n \n INDIE ROCK FROM THE GREAT LAKES! \nNiles\, Michigan’s The Erly came together in late 2017\, founded by vocalist/bassist Collin Mattiford and vocalist/drummer Fran Gleason. Guitarist and vocalist Trevor McDonald soon joined the lineup\, turning a last-minute “musician wanted” ad into a Craigslist success story. The band has since released three albums—Shadows (2018)\, Reckless (2021)\, and Culture Fever (2023)—building a loyal regional following with tracks like “Flame The Main\,” “Red Roof Inn\,” “Hey Amanda\,” and “Jasmine.”\n \nThe band’s trajectory took a sharp turn with the addition of keyboardist Simon Kauffman Hurst and the release of Salem Lights (2024). Featuring the singalong anthem “55 On The Other Side\,” the album propelled The Erly onto the national stage\, where they performed alongside acts like Sixpence None The Richer\, Cracker\, and Max.\n \nBlending structure with spontaneity\, The Erly delivers a “jam-adjacent” live sound that evolves with every performance. Their style weaves folk and Americana-inspired vocal harmonies with elements of jazz\, rock\, funk\, and soul\, creating a one-of-a-kind experience.\n \nOn August 21\, 2026\, The Erly will release Midnight River Show\, their fifth studio album.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n ABOUT ART WALK AFTER HOURS \nElkhart Art Walk is expanding its footprint this season with the debut of Art Walk After Hours. Hosted on Central Green\, this high-energy concert series invites the community to stay late and experience a musical journey through time. \nThe series theme\, “Each show opens a portal to a different era\,” promises a curated selection of hits spanning the 1980s\, 1990s\, 2000s\, and today. Designed as a space “where the fans have a voice\,” the event emphasizes community engagement and the vibrant local music scene. \nThe 2026 Schedule (7:30 PM – 9:00 PM): \n\nMay 27\nJune 24\nJuly 29\nAugust 26\nSeptember 23\n\nIn partnership with Elkhart Artwalk\, The Lerner Theatre\, and Elkhart Music Town. Made possible by: Elkhart County CVB\, Friends of the Lerner\, and Community Foundation of Elkhart County. Art Walk After Hours embodies the spirit of “Live. Local. Loud.” \nAttendees are encouraged to enjoy the traditional Art Walk festivities downtown before heading to Central Green for the 7:30 p.m. performances. Admission is FREE! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Elkhart Art Walk\n \n Elkhart Music Town
