The Indiana Black Expo LLC Elkhart Chapter proudly presents the 4th Annual African American Arts & Cultural Pavilion on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at The Lerner Theatre from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
This vibrant celebration showcases the creativity, talent, and cultural heritage of Black artists through music, visual arts, performance, and community engagement. The Pavilion offers a powerful platform for artists to share their unique perspectives while fostering diversity, inclusion, and meaningful connections within the arts community.
This year’s featured artists and participants include DMC, Jake Webster, Dorthey Jean Carter, Oliver Petites, Kamika Perry, Angela Johnson, Amaria Wilson, Mahaja Art, Knuckle Head Art Works, Velez Myb, Justice Waterson, Lisa Kowalski, Gabrial Thompson, Saxx Attack, as well as community partners Elkhart Public Library, Indiana Black Expo, and Hall of Heroes.
Join us for an evening that honors the richness of African American culture, unites the community, and uplifts the voices of talented creators.

Patron bags exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches by 6 inches (14” x 14” x 6″) are not permitted inside The Lerner. The term “bags” includes, without limitation, backpacks, briefcases, luggage, duffel bags, musical instrument cases, purses, boxes, packages and carry-alls.
All bags are subject to search at the discretion of management and/or security personnel. Exceptions are made for bags used to carry medical equipment and diaper bags for customers with small children.
Guests with prohibited items will be turned away from the entrances to return items to their vehicles or to dispose of them.
No storage or “check in area” will be provided for prohibited items. Lerner management reserves the right to deny any item it deems to be a safety hazard.
