Frequently Asked Questions

Will at home COVID-19 tests be accepted?

At-home COVID test results will only be accepted if there is a link to results you can print from a medical platform.

I have received my first COVID-19 vaccination dose, will my first dose vaccination card be accepted at entry?

Proof of full vaccination requires the last vaccination dose to be administered at least two weeks prior to the event date. If your dose is from a vaccine series that requires two doses, the full vaccination status requirement would be met only 14 days after the second dose.

For those guests who have only received the first of two doses, proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test will be required and taken within 72 hours prior to the event date.

How soon to the event date should I take a COVID-19 diagnostic test?

For events that require proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test, most events are requiring the test to be taken within 72 hours prior to the event date. Check the event details page for mitigation requirements for your specific event.

A member of our group is under 12 years of age and is ineligible for vaccination, can he/she still attend an event requiring vaccination?

When an event requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination, any unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age will be required to provide PRINTED PROOF of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 72 hours prior to entering the venue.

I am ineligible for vaccination due to underlying health conditions, am I unable to attend an event requiring vaccination?

When an event requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination, unvaccinated fans with a valid medical restriction will be required to provide PRINTED PROOF of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test prior to entering the venue.

Do you require a specific type of COVID-19 diagnostic test?

Events require proof of either a negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 diagnostic test.

Will I have to wear a mask?

In light of recently released guidance from the CDC, effective immediately, only the unvaccinated will need to be masked for all events at The Lerner Theatre.

This means that if you are fully vaccinated, masks are no longer required.

For the unvaccinated, masks are required and will be relied upon by personal responsibility.

However, some events are now requiring masks be worn at all times. If an event requires masking, you will find the requirement under each event description in the event listing on this website.

What if I am fully vaccinated or have printed proof of a negative test result within 72 hours of the event but have been exposed to COVID-19 or am displaying symptoms of COVID-19?

If you feel you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are displaying symptoms, we ask you to please stay at home.

For a list of possible symptoms, please visit cdc.gov for more information and resources. Continue to wash hands, sanitize, and mask-up when necessary.

How long will you keep my vaccination card on record?

We won’t! We will not store, save or keep copies of any of our patron’s vaccination cards.
